I hope you are all well and are having a wonderful day!
In this post I wanted to talk to you guys about your makeup bag. With September almost here, it is fair to say Autumn is literally round the corner. Which brings me to the exciting point of the Autumnal Makeup look. From the runway it is clear that each brand has adapted the look to their identity. However there are some similarities. These include bold colours, geometric shapes and the bare minimum. To see the trends click here.
With the new season arriving I always find my self purchasing new additions for my makeup bag. I recently came across two products with multiple uses. And at under £15.00 each I knew I had to share them with you all.
The Liquid Eye shadow:
Many designer brands have adapted the metal colours of Gold & Silver within their runway look. These colours have been used to create eye looks, bold lips and even highlight. If this is something you are wanting to add to your makeup bag I highly recommend the INGLOT Aquastic Eyeshadow. To me this is more than an eye shadow. As the product is incredibly pigmented, I’ve been using the smallest amount as a highlighter. And to be honest it’s far better than any highlighters I have used in the past. Plus did I mention it makes for an incredible liquid lipstick? Just imagine the amount of space this product will save in your makeup bag!
The Diamond Liquid:
If you looks through the beauty looks of the A/W17 catwalks you will notice the three trends are either bare, nude or bold. I personally don’t wear foundation (unless I’m headed for an event) so am really looking forward to creating looks without the base. When creating looks like this I believe the emphasis has to be either on the eyes or the lips. And to be honest if you are short on time then the lips are the best way to go as it is super quick. The product I’ve recently added to my makeup bag is the Diamond Lip Tint by INGLOT. The formula of this liquid lipstick is incredible. When applied it keeps my lips super soft and stays on all day. But what I love most is that I can also use this as a blush. As for the more nude shades, these double of great as liquid eyeshadows.
