Hey Guys!

I hope you are all well.

With the second week of August here, I think it’s about time I began transitioning my wardrobe for the Autumn season. With the summer still technically (I say technically as I can’t remember the last time I saw a sunny summers day), here I want to stick to brighter coloured garments.

Whilst visiting Primark last week I came across their Sweatshirts (at a bargain price of £5.00). These sweatshirts felt about the same quality as H&M but only a third of the price. Furthermore, the inside of the sweatshirts were lined with some form of soft felt. This makes it ideal for the colder temperatures. These sweatshirts come in a range of different colours. The ones I went with were violet/lavender, vermilion red and soft pink. As I personally prefer loose garments I picked up as size 20 (I’m a 14).

Sweatshirts are a piece of garment that are very versatile (for when it comes to styling). They can be dressed up and worn casually. I quite enjoy dressing them up as I think it gives an outfit a slight edgy look. So for this outfit I choose to pair the sweatshirt with rose printed trousers (also from Primark at £10.00). To give the outfit a more evening look I paired it with some white stilettos (from New Look at £4.00). If you don’t wear heels then white loafers will look equally as nice.

This is an outfit I feel would work just about anywhere. Be that meeting up with my friends for brunch, having dinner with my husband and to an event. As you can see it is an outfit from which one could get a lot of wear. And with a total cost of only £19.00,it is extremely friendly for those the wallet.

Until The Next Time
XOXO
